Multilingual interface

The IATE interface is available in the 24 official languages of the EU.

You can change the interface language using the language selector in the top-right corner.

The interface language will be saved in your local storage, so IATE will remember your selection on the same computer and browser. However, if you access IATE from a different computer or browser, it will be displayed in EN again.

Some labels, warnings or options may appear in English even if you have selected another interface language; this is usually because recent improvements to the interface involved the addition of new text which is not yet available in all the languages. The translated labels, warnings and options will usually be available from the next software release.
